Official poster for Africa’s first afrobeat dance movie released worldwide
Earlier today, Lexxistalking Entertainment unveiled the official poster for their hit film TDMP: The Dance Movie Project. Directed by Idahosa Osagie from James Mavrik Films, and Executive Produced by writer and filmmaker Alexander “Lexx” Ore, TDMP is the compelling story of Femi and Wale (Joelschild) two brothers striving to nurture their love for dance and save the life of their mother (Lizzy Anjorin) who suffers from Diabetes. TDMP is set in the fascinating city of Lagos, Nigeria – the most popular city in the most populous country in Africa.
“Without a doubt we are very excited about the release of the official poster for our film,” said Executive Producer Ore, in a statement he delivered earlier today. “Now moviegoers around the globe can have something else to engage with as they continue counting down to when the film hits theaters in the spring.”
“This is an exciting and one of a kind dance movie. The two brothers’ story about their love for dance and desire to help their single mother win the fight against Diabetes, is told in a great and unique way. It will inspire audiences of all types and will educate many about Diabetes prevention,” said Osagie, TDMP’s director.
TDMP is the first feature motion picture from director Osagie and it is produced by Alvin Moonsear and Deji Awokoya, with special guest appearances from celebrities such as Banky W, Denrele, Toolz and Britain’s Got Talent’s CEO Dancers (Ezinne Asinugo and Soliat Bada). TDMP is based on real life events, and it is Africa’s first Afrobeat Dance Movie.
